Changing Seasons

Summer breeze,
reminding me,
of yesterday.
Falling leaves,
begging me,
to always stay.

And as the leaves fall again.
The summer turns to autumn.
Leaving everything once mine,
when I follow close behind.

Snowflakes fall,
as they call,
a name once mine.
Raindrops follow,
for they know,
what was left inside.

winter turns to spring.
Finding out who was left behind,
Wishing I had kept them in mind.

just as long.
For the night,
comes passing by,
